Do you like the movie Speed? Do you want to reenact the amazing freeway jump? Then a GMC RTS is what you want. The RTS stands for “Rapid Transit Series”. The RTS line started in 1977 and is still made today. It is THE city transit bus from LA to NYC. The RTS could be had in 30, 35 or 40 foot lengths and was powered by a Detroit Diesel Series 71 engine mated to an Allison V730 transmission. This RTS is a 1981 and was used as an LA Airport shuttle bus from 1981-1982. Its a 40 foot version and according to the ad was well maintained with only 44k miles. Best thing is, the ad states it was sold to a collector who actually used it in the movie Speed!! Not sure how you can verify that, but if its true, even better!
